Puppy & Kitten Wellness Plan

Puppies and kittens inherit a natural immunity from their mother that protects them from birth until about 6 weeks of age.

After 6 weeks, your pet depends on you to continue that protection until their own immune system in fully developed. A SmartCare plan is designed to continue that protection by providing all services necessary to carry your young pet through the important first year of life.

Our puppy and kitten plans include all necessary examinations, vaccines, parasite screenings, and lab work. If your pet has not been spayed or neutered, there is a plan that includes pre-surgical blood work, hospitalization for the day, and the surgical procedure itself.

Puppy and Kitten SmartCare plans are designed for pets between 8 weeks and 5 months of age.

Restrictions:

• Pet must be healthy and at least 8 weeks of age to enroll.
• If pet is in heat, pregnant, or diagnosed as a cryptorchid at the time of surgery, additional charges will apply.
• If dog is greater than 50 pounds at the time of surgery, a $50 dollar fee will apply.
• Plan is nontransferable.
